fstuff1 Posted March 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2019 (edited) 1) OV (Rm3135): Bed + sofa + window Same as my room (Deluxe inside) except it has a window and drink package. 2) OV Veranda (Rm 9303)- The window comes down. So it's like a port hole balcony 3) Obstructed infinite veranda (Rm 6169)- Partially obstructed with life boat. The top part of the window comes down, like a car window. If you don't include the balcony, the room itself seems only slightly bigger than my Deluxe inside. 4) Unobstructed infinite veranda (Rm 7193) 5) Concierge class infinite veranda (Rm11114, connected to Celebrity suite Rm 11112 below)- includes access to Blu restaurant. The window is completely down. 6) Aqua class infinite veranda (Rm9275)- Everything Concierge class plus spa access <Looks the same as Concierge class, i think> 7) Sunset balcony (Rm 10273 aft balcony)- Real balcony, not like the Infinite Verandas. Look how long/deep the balcony is 8. Sky suite S3 (Room 8206)- Real balcony 9) Celebrity suite (Rm 11112) Edited March 4, 2019 by fstuff1
fstuff1 Posted March 4, 2019 Author #2 Share Posted March 4, 2019 (edited) 10) Iconic Suite (Rm 12100)- This cabin is amazing!!! The balcony alone is bigger than my deluxe inside room! Butler (?) holding door for us: Dining room/Living room (as you enter door): Living room (view from other side) Master Bedroom: Spare bedroom Bathroom- HUGE jacuzzi Balcony- Has a hot tub! View of the Magic Carpet from balcony Edited March 4, 2019 by fstuff1

Rare cruisestitch Posted March 4, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2019 (edited) Correction to photograph number two. This is not a window that goes up and down. The top part is always open. Like a regular veranda. Also this room has a sliding glass door, which you can see in the photo Edited March 4, 2019 by cruisestitch
Rare villauk Posted March 4, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2019 Is that statement above correct regarding the Concierge Class cabin on Edge being able to access Blu - that’s a new one on me as it’s not the case on any other X ship 🤷♀️?
Rare cruisestitch Posted March 4, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 4, 2019 It is not correct. Concierge staterooms do not get Blue dining.

(they specifically said thats the difference between their stateroom and Aqua.) what do Concierge staterooms get over regular infinite verandas? also, what staterooms am i missing from my list? Okay, more 'shrug', were one to go to X's website here, then it would be abundantly clear what the differences are/can be and what is or is not included in each cabin category, categorically per X. This does not always mean it is accurate, yet mostly, to be sure. I Am sure someone was disappointed to find out differently. bon voyage Edited March 4, 2019 by Bo1953

miched Posted March 4, 2019 #13 Share Posted March 4, 2019 Thanks for the pics was the ocean view taken in with your camera in black and white mode? It looks very drab and plain like a cheap hotel. Even the furniture looks cheap. We have a infinite balcony booked and feel like we were hood winked. X sure did a good con job with all the hype to sell the ship and getting us to pay a premium. Hopefull it wont be as bad as it appears. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

maggie.1008 Posted March 4, 2019 #17 Share Posted March 4, 2019 Glad I booked a SV for Jan. 2020. I would only book SV or Sky suite on the Edge. Prices should be coming down once Apex arrives.
Maya_C Posted March 4, 2019 #18 Share Posted March 4, 2019 OV room on the Edge vs on an M-class ship (before dry dock). Judging by the blue of the small pillows, the Edge photo is not in black-and-white. The color scheme is so bland that the cabin resembles a hospital room. This comparison shows the value of warm colors.
Rare cruisestitch Posted March 4, 2019 #19 Share Posted March 4, 2019 If you sail on edge be prepared for a lot of gray, beige and “greige”....even the pillow chocolates and the tote bags

Rare hcat Posted March 4, 2019 #24 Share Posted March 4, 2019 (edited) Thank you to OP. Great job posting a variety of cabins on EDGE But 100% true that only AQ Class gets upgraded bathroom with heated non steamy mirror, BLU and the Thermal suite included in the booking fare. BLU is not a concierge perk! Obviously, folks would check their cabin entitlements when booking..would not expect them to rely on word of mouth! PILLOWS: For our AQ class Veranda cabin I placed 2 smaller pillows on the lanai chairs permanently.. we had the chairs facing inward like a sun room..Stacked others on couch ..really a divan at night...it was useless for sitting..too low and rough fabric Edited March 4, 2019 by hcat
marieps Posted March 4, 2019 #25 Share Posted March 4, 2019 Room 11114 is a C2. It is connected to a suite as the OP said. Perhaps the occupants of the suite mentioned Blu, but of course they get Luminae and the Retreat as well. We are in AQ next week on deck 9.
