Double Mariner points

Can anyone confirm that what the Mariner Society rep told me is true ... that if we book a suite on an 18 night Alaska Land and Cruise tour (7 nights on ship + 11 nights land) that we get double points for the entire length of the trip, for a total of 36 points rather than just 25?

Yes, worked for us last Sept. But be sure and check they were applied correctly when back home. They had shorted us 2 cruise day credits
