Travel Insurance

We live in WA state and are cruising to AK. Wondering which travel insurance company would be cheapest but dependable in case we get sick or something and need to cancel.

Two things:

1.  There are several trip insurance comparison sites.  I use insuremytrip.com mostly.  There you can put in the parameters of what you want covered, and they will show you many company's policies for you to choose from.

What are you wanting coverage for?

Medical? You’ll have coverage thru your work provided insurance. If you already have coverage. Medicare is still good. Unless treated in Canada. Might be mistaken on Canada.

Evacuation from the ship? That will be the United Stated Coast Guard for free.

General cancellation? Is that a big risk that would financially devastate you?  If so, then the above posts have some good ideas.
