Sauer-kraut Posted March 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2019 Sailing with a friend who now sleeps with a Cpap machine. Will a regular 6 foot extension cord be adequate to plug into the outlet in an INSIDE cabin on the Jewel or do we need to pack something longer?? Rare BirdTravels Posted March 10, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2019 We always carry a 6' and 12' extension cords. Sometimes one or the the other are sufficient. Sometimes both are needed. Remember: No surge protects. Just plain extension cords.
bluesea777 Posted March 10, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2019 True. I always take a 15 ft extension cord. It is used every time, even in Breakaway Haven!
Sauer-kraut Posted March 10, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted March 10, 2019 Thank you, I'll pack 2 6 footers then. Indeed, just a plain (lightweight) cord.

I requested distilled water from the Access department. They recommended bringing at least a 6 foot cord as the outlet is not near the bed. They have cords on board but they are first come first served.
Blm03 Posted March 10, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 10, 2019 We are cruising in June. How do I get ahold of the Access department? Do I do that beforehand or after we are on the ship? (Cruise newbie here and my husband uses a CPAP)

Thanks! We figured he’d get stuck using tap water which you aren’t really suppose to use so I appreciate it!
