Need Answer On Uber/Lyft To POM

I have looked all over for an answer and have heard everything from Yes they do, to No they don't, to It's illegal. Could someone who has done it please answer the question, can Uber/Lyft take you to the Port of Miami and drop you off reasonably close to the building and can they pick up reasonably close to the building also? Am considering taking them from Ft Lauderdale to the port and then back to the airport. Going on Carnival Horizon in Sept and need to know. Thanks in advance

Can’t say for POM but we took Lyft  to and from PE with no issues.  He drove us right up to where the porters were and also got picked up right outside the cruise buildings.  Easy!

We took Uber to POM and from POM in November 2018. No issues at all getting picked up or dropped off close to terminal ship was docked at.

There is no guard or anything at PortMiami like Port Everglades.  People use Uber all the time to drop off and pick up there.  It's easy in/out.

Easy, popular and convenient.  Fare from hotels near FLL to POM should be about $35+

Just remember that getting to POM may cost half the price of leaving, due to surge pricing.
