Hi everyone,

Is the short walk to the British Colonial Hilton safe? Also, I've heard about the construction noise next door to the hilton....is it really terrible when at the hilton's beach, or not that big a deal.

Thanks!

It's a short walk.  Just head right when you leave the cruise terminal.

Thank you. Is the walk safe?

Never had a problem.  We're going there again next week. There are so many other cruisers walking around and we always feel very safe.

Just be careful of the sidewalk on the corner there. I've seen many a cruiser trip over it and fall into Senor Frogs. They end up as unwilling participants in conga lines and are issued yard glasses. Just be watchful and steer clear and you'll be fine. :classic_tongue:

P.S. Really an easy and safe walk to BCH. :classic_biggrin:

As I said in other posts, we were there last week and I want to say steer clear of the Tresor Rare shops.  They are extremely pushy and rude while trying to get you to buy their products.  Before your trip, google them and read the reviews.  One person was duped into spending $7,500.00.  I was pulled into one of the shops and luckily I have enough street smarts to smell something rotten.

Don't let your vanity get the best of you because that's what they play to.

I was definitely "willing" LOL.. that conga line is a lot of fun. It's been 7 years and my family still talks about that dinner at Senor Frogs.
