Balcony light

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if there is a light of any kind on the balcony? Specifically interested in Independence, a Junior Suite. I have sailed on a few other lines and on one, can't remember which, there was a light outside with the switch inside close to the sliding doors. We didn't notice it for several days and it did not give out much light, but was really nice to have. Anyone know, please?

A lot of people don't even realize it's on after trying all the light switches, and they close their curtain all the way so they don't realize it.

I've sometimes slipped a note under a neighbor's door asking politely if they could turn it off when not in use as I want my curtain open to see and get natural sunrise light.

Agree...annoying also when they leave that light on.

Another one...had neighbors who left their TV on all night with the balcony drapes open.  The flashing light from the TV was also annoying.  We like to leave our drapes open to see the stars at night from the bed.  Both situations were not good for doing that.

Ugh!  Sorry!

I wish they'd label in balcony light, I knew what it was but expect most don't.

The TV thing though reminds me of a girlfriend I traveled with and it wasn't until our first night at sea I learned she needs the TV on to sleep, sigh.  I much prefer no noise or better white noise but survived though limited our same room travels after that!
