CruisnDeb Posted March 25, 2019 #52 Share Posted March 25, 2019 I love live reviews and I am so glad you are doing one! We will be taking our first Celebrity cruise at the end of August. I would love lots and lots of pics especially of the MDR and bar menus. We went cheap on this cruise and have an Outside Cabin, so if you happen to have one on your cabin crawl, I would some pics of that too. Enjoy your cruise! lauder Posted March 25, 2019 #59 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Looking forward to your review. If possible any pictures of the area where they had the Martini Bar, the lounge outside of the old Michaels Club, Casino Bar etc would be interesting. Just off Edge and big changes in these areas so wondering how they have modified these areas. Not booked on Summit until June 2020 and not sure whether to stay with suites or Aqua. Thanx Have a great trip!!!

LadyBerard Posted March 25, 2019 #62 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Any chance someone can post a video or pictures of the new Category 6 oceanview cabins located on deck 3?

I would appreciate it if you would take some photos of the suite retreat hot tub, specifically of any wheelchair lift there is going into the hot tub. Also, would you take a photo of any elevator going up to the suite retreat area (or note if there are only stairs going up there). I haven't been able to determine access from the photos which have been taken and posted thus far. Thank you. Have a great cruise!! I'm sure they will post some here. If you go to the Millennium Revolution thread there are pictures of the elevator up to the retreat, the ramp and the lift in to the hot tub. montgomeryfamily Posted March 25, 2019 #64 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Thanks, but someone already posted some photos showing both the lift and the elevator on page 2 of this thread. I was very happy to see those. We had seen the photos of the same on the Milly, but we were concerned that Celebrity might not do the same for the Summit. We were very relieved and happy to see that, in fact, both were included on the Summit renovation.
rosskeys88 Posted March 25, 2019 Author #65 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Busy day! What I have so far! Waiting for a YouTube video of the Royal Suite to post. Note 6138 does NOT have a chaise sectional due to the door to the next cabin. We also had no table lamps in the bedroom bedroom but they brought us in some (but not the same as our other suite). The oceanview cafe is GORGEOUS! They did a nice job there. A lot of little issues we are hearing about—especially on our neck of the woods (aft 10) but everyone is super willing to help get everything working. Luminae lunch was nothing short of amazing—they even treated our kids like royalty. Spent just a few minutes on retreat deck before muster; much more shade than I expected. Will post pics tomorrow. That’s the only place where service is....a bit underwellming and obviously confused. walked through the casino—looks like many new machines and the bar is brand new. No Harley slots that I spotted.

They have a HIIT class listed on the app (went live today) and fellow cruiser Aprilfool77 are both Orange theory fans, so we will certainly check out the rowers! Can you let us know if it costs extra? I often travel with my kangoo boots to work out with but would be willing swap them out of some HIIT classes. Can't wait to set sail on April 13th! TIA! Are they keeping it as is, are they converting it to Le Petit Chef, or maybe Qsine on some night and LPC others? We ate at Qsine last night. It hasn’t seemed to have made the switch to Le Petit Chef. Still had the same menu and sign as the previous version (and it was fabulous!) 1
