Do we know for sure.  I think Captain Jeroen is on for the transatlantic but has a vacation coming between now and the handover.

Captain Dag takes over on April 12th - LIsbon, Roy.  And, I’m quite happy with that 😉

He was at the helm when I sailed on Prinsendam.  A truly classy gentleman, very guest oriented, and obviously a well seasoned Captain.

Everyone loved him on our last cruise.  He introduced the “block party” on the Prinsendam.  It was a lot of fun.

His stories are fantastic for sure.

He said in Dec that he was retiring with Prinsendam.

He told us that too in May last year.  He had a wide choice of ships.

I still remember the “give me the open wing bridge, a good promenade and a well built ship”. I probably didn’t quote it properly but it was close to that.

He made it clear back then that he was staying with the Prinsendam and when she goes, he does too.

Sadly I am going to miss the Prinsendam sailing away -- I need to nap before I make dinner -- I have a bad cold.

oh so sorry to hear that Yonnie

I hope the nap helps and you feel better soon.

You're correct, Roy! Capt. Schuchmann stays on until Lisbon, then Capt. Dag takes over for five weeks, when Capt. Jeroen comes back and has her until the handover to the Germans in July

Are you getting the webcam?  Do you have PTZ premium.  When I tried on the Prinsendam, they were apparently using an ad blocker and I could't get in.
