Are there certified Taxi Services at the port -we  would like to go to Rendesvous Resort for Day Pass and want to insure proper transportation and costs.

Yes, there's official taxi stands at both piers. Taxi to Rendezvous should be no more than $10usd one way from either pier. 

It'sliterally a 15-25 minute flat easy walk also..
