Considering how easily and quickly news travels they have done so well to keep progress away from prying eyes it seems. Has anyone managed to spot anything on the ship or wha the final state the dock 2 was in after Oasis left? Nope. Isn’t the Information Age wonderful? Oasis still moored. 😞 I feel like we're being teased, hoping that it'll start making the journey soon only to be let down. I'll take solace in the fact that it does say Oasis is expected on April 18th in Cadiz which is all that really matters. Probably best not to invest so much time waiting for the blue rectangular shape to move away from the dock.

May 5th is fast approaching and the suspense is killing me! Good luck! (And, I mean that in a nice way, not a snarky way 🙂. I really feel for everyone who has been impacted by this...) (and that doesn’t look likely) your advice is well founded, re blue rectangles! peace

I'd say almost 0 chance they'd leave the crane on for the crossing. First of all, it's extra weight they wouldn't want to haul even if the authority would even let the ship leave with it on there. Also, it belongs to the shipyard, broke or not. They have a big crawler crane at the shipyard. It's probably much easier for them to get it off there and set it on the shore for disassembly than it would be to get it off if cadiz and put it on a barge. Rare Oceansaway17 Posted April 7, 2019 #1081 Share Posted April 7, 2019 All I got to say is this has to be a nightmare for the shipyard where the accident happened and for RCI trying to resolve all the issues and get the ship to Europe, Wishing best to all who will sail on her over then next few weeks or months. I bet the insurance company is keeping fingers crossed too. 1

The financial analysts were predicting a $0.10 - 0.15 slip in the share price if the ship is out of service for four weeks. It won’t break the bank. Yes, I got spooked by this a bit and sold my shares. But the price has actually gone up since. I thought it would be way more costly.
