I have a Princess Casino comp cruise booked that sails in less than a month.

My share was paid Months ago....

I just contacted Princess Cust Serv AGAIN, to get CBS/Casino to pay their portion, so were Paid in full & can print our Etickets.

Never had them Wait this long to pay their portion.  What is going on?

Anyone else have Problem recently with Casino/CBS taking care of their portion of your comp cruise? 🧐

Hi,

I'm having this same problem.  Our cruise is not as close as yours but I'd like to get everything in order and print our documents.  I've called as well and I was told the Casino just takes their time.  Maybe because it's Tax Season and they are working on win/loss statements instead?  Please come back and let us know when your cruise gets finalized.  Crossing my fingers!

Thanks!

Tina

I'm experiencing the same thing.  We have an Alaskan cruise set for mid June. Paid our share when we booked months ago (upgraded from inside to mini) and after several calls between TA and Princess casino area they were finally told the casino area does not update their records to show paid until 2 weeks before cruise leaves.  I'm rather nervous because tomorrow is the date for final payment.

I had this happen last year. When I called and expressed nervousness about it, the agent told me not to worry, that I was set to go and it would be paid. She was right and it was paid a couple of weeks prior to the cruise. As long as it still shows you're booked, it shouldn't be a problem.

Same thing here, although we just booked on Wednesday and made payment at that time for the June 25 sailing of the Grand.

And did anyone else have to pay a $100 deposit per person for a “complimentary“ cruise??

Hi Greyhound3,

Yes.  We paid the $100 deposit pp but it's on our account as OBC.  That's their way of getting something if we don't show-up.  I'm OK with the OBC because we'll spend it... probably in the casino LOL!  Our last certificate had the same wording but we were not charged.  Our current rep told me that their computer systems and/or agents couldn't figure out how to post it so many of the agents just skipped it.  Supposedly, they fixed that glitch last October so now it's done this way.

Thanks for the info, Tina. No OBC showing for us yet, but neither is the casino’s side of the payment. Maybe then, huh?

Yes, Princess is so slow to get their share paid & also other items. I asked them if they have fax Machines!!

We got an offer while on the Regal in Feb'19, & called right away, to book another one. He was first surprised that our offer was already showing on his end.  He said it usually takes up to 3 weeks after you get off the ship!

Then I got an email one month later, saying to pay the balance over $1,000  for our free outside cabin!! I called & they said to ignore it-I'm all paid up &  the casino dept will eventually pay its share!  Carnival & Royal is not like that at all!!

And Princess started the $100 per person deposit In Oct'18, like Carnival does, that you'll get back as onboard credit.

This happened to me last year. I went to print out my boarding pass a few days before my flight and couldn't. It took them a day to fix, they sounded surprised, but it seems like it happens quite often. I currently have a trip for July and they haven't paid it and I wanted to book EZair but can't until they pay.

I had to same thing happen to me on my Crown Princess cruise this past January and eventually the cruise came up paid in full. I have another casino comp booked on the Sky for next February, and already booked and paid for our excursions and the $100 deposit/OBC was deducted from the cost which was nice that we did not have to wait until the cruise to use this OBC.

Logged into the Personalizer today and found that I can now print boarding passes, meaning the casino has paid their side. Still no cabin assignment though (and no OBC credit).

The $100 deposit should be under onboard reservations under reservations and purchases. Mine showed up immediately.

Grey,

You lucky dog!  LOL!  Both of our cabins are still unpaid.  😞

As Crystal04 said... the OBC should be in the purchased section of the Travel Summary.  Ours is listed above our bottled water.

I hope CalLuvsCruisingTo has been sorted out by now.  Printing those luggage tags are a highlight for me!  LOL!

Checked the OBC but nothing there...

OOPS! Yes, it is... right where Crystal and AreWeThereYet said it would be! Thanks! 🤑

Now if we only had a cabin assignment... 👍

Less than 2 weeks to go and Princess casino Finally paid their portion.

I Printed our Etickets & luggage tags.

I must say, Whoever decided to move out Paying up on their portion?

Should be fired.

This is causing undue stress & mistrust from their Loyal customers.🙁

On top of that?  Another ongoing Princess Casino Problem (that appears to be a New issue)

is NOT GIVING "COME BACK & PLAY" VOUCHERS TO YOU WHEN YOU ARE GETTING OFF THE SHIP.

Has anybody else gotten one recently???

(In other words, if you are a good player and did a certain amount of POINTS in the ships casino,

You are given a bounceback comp offer, that usually needs to be Booked within a month.....

You get about 6 months of time to cruise on the offer.

On past cruises weve ALWAYS Gotten a voucher on our last day of the cruise.

This recent cruise?    NOTHING

Customer Service (the morning we were getting off) said "I think they are emailing now.."

Nope! Nothing!

Well, its been almost 2 months since my last Princess cruise, and Still NO "COME BACK & PLAY OFFER".😡

Again, I've made Several calls and Promised Casino says I have an offer, and they would be contacting me?

They still haven't.

Something is WRONG in the Princess Casino Dept.

So for my upcoming cruise that was JUST Paid by them..... I will barely play in the casino, or attempt to hit a certain

amount of play for a bounceback cruise offer,  because obviously Thats Not happening.

Hi CalLuvsCruisingTo,

I’m happy to hear that you finally were able to print your luggage tags.  We are still waiting for our cabins to be paid.

We just got off of the Royal Princess a few weeks ago and my husband and I both received bounce back offers from the casino before we left.  They were left under our door but fairly close to departure time.  Unfortunately, we won’t be able to use the offers because we have other cruises booked already and no more vacation time but it’s nice to be asked.

Thanks, I'm glad they finally paid up so we could print our etickets.

Tina, when you got off Royal, thats exactly what is Suppose to happen!

They put the bounceback offer Under your door, or slot on your door.......

Thats HOW its Always been done.

If Princess wants to do it differently? Fine. Let us know.

Getting off Regal, we got No voucher, and Still No Word from CBS/Casino,

as to Any offer from that Regal cruise. Even though we were told we definately qualified.☹️

So, I'm tired of being jerked around. I'm cancelling our later this year cruise with Princess, and booked

a better comp casino offer thru NCL.

I hope someone from Princess reads these threads, and Fixes these LATE Pay problems,

and Not getting Casino "Come Back & Play" offers when getting off the ship.🤨

I'd like to think my persistence, and this board, had something to do with Princess policy change.

I was told they will NOW put us down as Paid when we book Casino bookings.😉

(I called again, this time to cancel a booking, but after the good news, booked another later in the year,

and was told it already shows Paid!)  Alrighty then.

Even though the Casino Hasn't really paid their share yet, it will show as Paid at time of booking for Us.

This is a Positive change, and much needed.

This way, Casino comp guests, won't have to Worry if they Paid or Not, and we can print our Etickets on time, etc.

If you got a guarantee it can be issued to you the day of.  Don't stress about it.  You will get a room. My last one was assigned to me 5 days out.

Understood. I’m thinking there are two ways this could go -

1. We end up pleasantly surprised with an upgrade. 👍

2. We end up with the most undesirable cabin on the ship. 😳

Hoping for #1, obviously!
