Viking Hotel in Reykjavik

Hi All

Sorry if this has been answered before but I just cant find it....

Was wondering what Hotel(s) Viking Uses in Reykjavik? 

where does the ship dock???

Viking put us in the Grand Hotel Reykjavik on our pre cruise extension the end of May last year before Viking Homelands.

And we will be staying there in June, with our pre-cruise extension.  We will arrive quite early, as many flights do.  Were you able to check in upon arrival?

No. After transfer from airport we arrived about 9:30 and we were permitted to partake of the hotel’s sumptuous breakfast buffet. We were told 2 pm for check in but we got our room at 1:40. Others waited until near 5 pm.

We are in the Hilton Canopy in downtown on our post cruise extension in June.

Thank you.   I will plan on some sightseeing in lieu of waiting around.
