Day pass hotel \n Puerto Vallarta

Have been to PV before and this time considering just going to a nice hotel pool/beach area for the day.  Does anyone have any recent experiences?  If yes, could you advise the name of the hotel and the day rate?

If it was me I would just take a bus or taxi to Bucerias about 20 minutes away. Lots of toes in the sand beach bars , restaurants and shops to visit. La Cruz is only another 10 minutes up the road. Continue on to Destiladeras beach or Punta de Mita and Higuera Blanca.  Lots of nice  small  town Mexican places to visit. Why waste your time at an all inclusive off a cruise ship.

PS In case you arrive the week before or the week after Easter be aware all Hotels will be full for 100% due to the many mexicans coming to the beaches. In that time of year it will be very difficult to get a daypass in any hotel. Beaches will be packed!!!

Thank you for posting.  My Dw and I are not going until next January but this will be a big help.
