What's your favorite?

So....call me a planner....or overzealous....whatever floats your ship 😉 But, we have a cruise booked with family that will be at Curacao in October and we've booked one just us and our kids (7&9) for March 2020. Right now, our family is really into the idea of excursions in October with sea turtles etc (which we're totally on board for). But, because we know we're going back on our own six months later, we'd love to hear ALL of your favorite excursions. We may end up using them for October or March. Both times will involve kids (ages 6-12 in October and our 7 & 9 in March).  Everyone is VERY excited but also very "information driven" people so the more real people experiences you can provide will be awesome. We're happy with experiential ones as well as the best beach to chill on (all-inclusive or not).

Thanks!

We liked blue bay. Good snorkeling and we saw a turtle there too. Not far from port and we were able to walk all over town afterwards

Gosh, it would have been way too far a walk for us but we are older.

Asking for those who don't find walking a problem:

How long did it take you to walk... how many miles?

Oh sorry I was unclear. We didn’t walk downtown from blue bay. We went back to port then walked downtown.

No problem ... Yes, easy enough to walk from the port to downtown.

Also want to thank you for telling us you enjoyed Blue Bay.

My kids are 5 and 7. They loved Blue Bay. Calm snorkelling, very nice beach, and we saw an Ocotpus.

Our only regret is we didn't do a Sea Turtle excursion. So you'll have to balance out the two options.

Curacao was the last stop on our ABC itinerary and we'd already done snorkel trips in Aruba and Bonaire, by the time we got to Curacao a half day at Blue Bay was perfect. We went back to port and walked into town. Kids LOVED the moving bridge and taking the ferry. My daughter was captivated by the street art.

Personally I just loved walking around downtown, it's a world heritage site after all. Skip past the port "shopping mall" and wander around the town!!!!
