I had to call to have it booked with the dining package and was told we'd be charged for the upcharge onboard.

If anyone has seen the Velvet dinner show, can you please tell me if it is appropriate for a 12 year old? Based on the description it seems to have an adult theme.

It is a burlesque type show. I don't think it would be appropriate for the average under 18 crowd.

Thank you.  Prior to posting, I called NCL. Supposedly, the only show that is designated as not being appropriate for a young audience is Rock of Ages. In fact, the consultant was amused that I would ask the question.  He went on to tell me that she will see people wearing bikinis so it shouldn't be a big deal. I proceeded to tell him that being at pool side and seeing people in bikinis is very different than watching a burlesque type show. And that he needs to educate himself before making such remarks. Needless to say, we will pass.
