Missed Roatan because of wind?

I am supposed to dock at Roatan on the 16th and the weather for the last few days has consistently said 20-30 mph winds!  Is this usually a windy stop?  Will this prevents us from docking?  Would this cancel my excursion to Maya Key?

I would appreciate you all sharing any experiences or thoughts about this!  Thanks!

One can never predict such things.  I have heard of ships sometime citing wind was the reason they did not dock at Mahogany Bay. I've also heard occasionally those ships which can't dock at Mahogany Bay are sometimes offered a spot at the port of Coxen Hole.

Now then if your ship is porting in Coxen Hole then you may not have a problem at all.

I don't think wind will affect the boats going back and forth from Maya Key,  it's fairly well protected and just a short run.
