How much do they charge for that parking?

$10/day. It's a fenced lot on the backside of the hotel. We stayed there twice and used their lot both times. Never had any problems. We were planning to stay there again next March, but we're going with a few members of my wife's family. Her cousin, who'll be 21, is traveling without her parents, so we're kind of looking out for her. So we've been looking at another hotel in Miami that has a parking package and the room has a sleeper sofa for her cousin so she doesn't have to pay for her own room.

All of the playlist productions are new and created just for this ship. I’ve attached pictures of the names of the shows and the descriptions.

Thank you for this. Amor Cubano was on our Glory cruise last year. Not into latin music, so will skip that again. Not sure about Vintage Pop. I do like some "big band" music, but I don't know about a whole show's worth. The other two sound interesting.

We are booked on deck 6 balcony cabin in the middle of the ship and even though you are located in a different area but on deck six do you feel there is any more noise coming from deck 5 and the outer side venues? Our last few cruises we have been in much higher decks so only other cabins have been below us. Just wondering

We haven’t noticed any noise coming from any other decks or venues. The biggest noise issue is people letting their balcony door slam closed or dragging chairs across their balcony but that happens on any deck.

We saw Soulbound and wrote about it earlier in the post. We plan to see Celestial Strings tonight. Apparently it is really good. Will post our thoughts after!

Sort of on the Pizza topic...have you seen anyone get a pizza delivered to them? I remember reading somewhere for $5 you can get pizza delivered anywhere on the ship. It's through the HUB app I think.

We have seen the pizza delivery person several times delivering pizza throughout the ship. $5 is a little high in my opinion but I have to admit, it sure would be nice to have someone bring me a pizza while sitting on our balcony!

How has the motion of the ship been? Have you (or anyone else) felt the ship moving/rocking much? The Horizon is like twice as big as the paradise so I’m curious. Last year my son and I lost an entire sea day to bed with sea sickness.

This has been the smoothest ship we have been on. There has been a little motion but nothing like a fantasy class ship. It actually feels like 3 times as big as a fantasy class ship.

We just booked a Havana Cabana for this ship sailing in January, so this review has been fantastic.  Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.  It has me even more excited for our cruise.

You are welcome!

A little tired this morning. I usually play in the casino a few times during a cruise but on this trip I had not played at all until last night. I went on a bachelor party cruise about 4 weeks ago and got a terrible sinus infection. (Two trips to the doctor later I was finally feeling better right before this trip) After thinking about it I put two and two together and I think the cigarette smoke made it worse big time from the casino. On our first day on this cruise I walked though the casino and I was all stuffed up again, so decided to not gamble. Well the bug got me last night. I walked through and it wasn’t too smoky so I went over to the craps table. Played for about an hour or so and I was down about $50. I got up and walked around and found a blackjack table. The one with the automatic shufflers, and played until about 1am. It was fun and ended up in the positive! (Now just hope my sinus infection doesn’t come back). I know you’re not suppose to take pictures in the casino....don’t tell anyone.

Current cruise location on our way back to Miami! This is our first 8 day. I think 7 day will be the go to for us from now on. Just like getting back on a Saturday and having Sunday to get back in the swing of real life.

It’s the wife here again for another guest post!

Our cruising buddies and I went to see Celestial Strings last night. The doors opened at 7 and the show started at 7:30. We got in line at 6:30 and were the 2nd group in line. By 6:45, there was already about 35 people in line on our side and about the same on the other side. If you want a decent seat, get there early!!

When the doors opened they had some “pre-show fun” until the show started at 7:30. (Anyone know what the fairy had people to write on the leaves?)

The show was very majestic. The 3 violinists were really impressive and the dancers/singers did a really great job. I really enjoyed the songs I recognized but was a little bored with the ones I didn’t. I’m not a huge broadway musical/ballet person but if you are, you will really enjoy Celestial Strings!
