Yes, you can. Check your cruise planner to see if you can do it beforehand or if you have to wait until you board.

We booked a private hour when we sailed her in October. I believe the cost was $500 per hour for the private.

You might want to start without a lesson (the staff helps folks who have never ridden) and if really needed, sign up for the group one, typically $69.

That should be the cost if you need instruction.  It was $395 in March without instruction.

That is correct - we needed instruction as none of us had been on one before.
