How do I get electronic copy of my VIFP card or..

Any other way to electronically submit proof of my status to another cruise line. We live in Lisbon now and are platinum on CCL. We're cruising the Med this year and since CCL doesn't cruise from here until 2020, we chose MSC. They have a loyalty plan that gives matching credit to other loyalty plans. However, you have to submit a copy of your loyalty "card" or another way to prove:

First Name

Last name

Loyalty Status Level

Company Name and Logo.

 

Any ideas?

I scanned a copy of my last sign & sail card from Carnival and sent it to MSC for proof of status.

I’m looking into the same matter. I plan on submitting a screenshot of my info and seeing if that works.

I sent a screenshot of my VIFP profile. Worked like a charm.

I would log into Carnival web site and go to VIFP club. Take a screen shot and send them that.

I'm curious, in the Status Match program, what Voyager's Club level does one get for Carnival Platinum?  Silver?  Gold?

It gets you Gold, we are going on our first MSC cruise on April 29th after 35 Carnival cruises.

Nice. Thank you.  I've been seriously considering trying MSC, especially because of their Status Match program. It's brilliant marketing, IMO.  Have a great cruise!

I might be able to board at nearby Guadeloupe?

Think I saw somewhere that MSC home-ports out of Point-a-Pitre GUAD

during the winter cruise season?

 

Thing is... will Carnival reciprocate? Will my seven paid nights on MSC

get tacked on to my VIFP record at Carnival.com?

Nice to see that was acceptable. I guess they just want the info therein.

 

Over the years I've maintained a personal cruise history text document

way more detailed than usual

with dates, booking numbers, voyage numbers, cabin numbers, etc.

I have a copy of it on a thumb-drive that lives attached to whatever I'm wearing.

Of course I'll never need it! becoz I have it!

Not currently. Carnival doesn't have a loyalty matching program. But some of their marketing execs were talking about it a couple years ago. They were looking into revamping VIFP, not only to help attract first & second time cruisers to keep returning, but to possibly partner with more companies to do some type of loyalty matching. Whether or not that meant other cruise lines, they didn't really specify, but the concept has been discussed, at least.

Are you kidding, Carnival wont even merge all the brands they own into one program like RCL, hotel chains do with their brands and many airlines do with their partnerships like Star Alliance.

I am also status matched to gold and will be trying MSC for the first time in December.  I’ll definitely be back to CCL just wanted a change.  I too uploaded a photo of my platinum card to obtain the status match.

Nope  msc has nothing to do with carnival.i sailed msc last year I didn't bother to status match.i am one of those people that don't care.may do it for next year's cruise on msc seaside though.i could always use an extra bottle of water.
