Carry on wine

I honestly don't recall ever seeing this asked. I know we're allowed 2 bottles of wine per stateroom. My question is this: Does that apply only to port of origination? In other words - can I bring a couple bottles on board while we're in port in Bermuda, for example? TIA

You can bring on wine at intermediate ports, but if the security people find it, they will take it away and return it at the end of the cruise.
