Transportation from ARN (Airport) to Stockholm Cruise Port

Hi All,

 

We are aboard the Serenade of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) on July 14, porting out of Stockholm.

 

Our flight lands at ARN at 10:35 AM.

 

Our ship departs from Stockholm at 6 PM

 

What would be our best method of transportation for getting from airport to the Royal Caribbean cruise port?

 

Note: We are a family willing to pay extra for convenience.  Especially with us having a little less margin for error than ideal (landing less than 8 hours before departure time), if the easiest thing is to take a cab (or Uber, what's the Uber/Lyft situation from Stockholm airport if anyone knows?) then we will do that happily.  We arrived in Edinburgh a couple years ago and were told by everyone at the airport to take the bus to our downtown hotel and we were annoyed over the half-mile walk we had from bus stop to hotel.  We ARE willing to pay more for convenience (within reason, reserving the stretch black limo would probably also be a no).

Taxi would obviously be the most convenient way. Recommended companies: Taxi Kurir,
Taxi Stockholm and Sverigetaxi (formerly known as Taxi020).

 

There is also a private car service called Frey's hyrverk which are quite fancy and even used by the Royal Court.

 

 You can also use the airport express train to the central station and then use a cab from there.

There is a fixed rate. Check before you get in the cab.  Taking the express train to central Stockholm isn’t worth the trouble.
