Just finished reading your review and looking at your pictures.  GREAT!!

Many times we have been at HMC with 2 large ships -- we make that our day to stay on the quiet ship.  It has been years since we ate at HMC -- even when there was 1 ship there.  Food not great.

Loved your food pictures.

It's only 9:15 am and you're making me hungry!  Great pics.  I visited a lot of these same port a few years ago on the Noordam.  Brings back great memories.

Loved your review.  We were supposed to take this cruise, but had to cancel.  So, hopefully next year we can try again!!

I'm so sorry you had to cancel.  I hope you can sail the Koningsdam, it's a really pretty ship and the ports, wherever they may be, will be great!

I loved KoningsdAm ..the food was yummy esp in spe ialty restUrNts .We did go for suchi onenight ...my son lovedit ..i discovered idon.t carefor raw fish ..lol I preferveggie suchi

our cabin had a few issues but I lovedmy big balcony ....

my only criticism is show times too early for my liking ..I prefer dinner at 8-8:30withshow after. That around 10-10:30pm ...as a result I missed them all ..hmmmmm.i really enjoy resting before dinner after a day of swimming and sun on the islands ...I hope they change those times

Really like your reviews and photos.  We sailed on the Koningsdam from Rome to Amsterdam last May and very much enjoyed it.  Wonderful ship and crew, food was excellent and the excursions were very good.  Will be sailing on Koningsdam's sister ship, Statendam next may from Amsterdam to St. Petersburg(sp) and other ports in northern Europe.

Thanks for the informative review and the wonderful pictures.  It looked like a wonderful getaway.   Sometimes nothing better than hanging out on the ship on a port day.

You are so right!  We love those days when most everyone is gone.

Entertainment was hard to find when you get tired of BB King's and RollingStone Rock Room.
