table size request?

Recommended Posts

How to request a table size prior to sailing on X? I have an e-mail address for this for RCI. Surely X has one as well?

We've requested it through our travel agent a few times but it doesn't always go heeded. Best strategy is just to go see the maitre 'd first thing when you board.

You might also have better luck getting a table for two if you choose select dining instead of traditional.

When your TA or X do the booking they will ask for table size , dinner time (1st or 2nd or select), configuration of the beds (together or separate)

With Select dining you do not request a table size.  You can make reservations for each night if you want or you can show up when you are ready to dine.  You will be asked if you want to share a table, if not you will be seated at a table for 2.

If you have elected traditional dining then your TA can add a table size request to your reservation.

With the caveat being that it is a request-- and a request that doesn't always get honored. A few times its worked requesting in advance, a few times it hasn't.

CelebrityDining@Celebrity.com. Give ship name, date of sailing & what your table request. Very easy. I do it about 3 week out from sailing.

So is this is for traditional dining?  With Select you get a table for 2 unless you agree to share a table.  We have done that a few times and when  we have found others we enjoy dining with we meet and go to dinner together.
