Wow, that is a great sale price.  Were you just lucky or did you keep checking daily for a sale?

We are on the Adventure this Saturday 4/27 and were able to book pre-cruise for $42/day. Definitely keep checking cruise planner! The prices will go up and down in the weeks/months leading up to the cruise depending on the amount of people who booked pre-cruise. We booked about 4 weeks out because we couldn't turn down the price! If prices go down further, you are also allowed to cancel and then re-book at the discounted price, just FYI.

Looking forward to your review. We leave on the Adventure on Saturday! Did your room have the USB ports on the bottom of the book lights/night lights by the bed? I have seen some mention of them but don't know what rooms/floors they are in.

Some JS and above cabins have the USB port under the lights by the bed. We had a balcony cabin on our cruise a month ago and there were none.

Thank-you for the insight and good to know that you can re-book if you see a lower price.

My cruise is not until Mar 2020 so the packages have not even opened up yet.  $42/day is a no brainer for me.

Are you by chance a diamond member?  Wanted to get a sense how crowded the diamond lounge is on adventure.

Was on Allure a few years ago and found diamond lounge was too crowded ended up just using our three pre-loaded card drinks at a bar.  Was on anthem last year and found as diamond lounge wasn’t too crowded.

Way too much variance sailing to sailing and subjectivity of what one considers "crowded" to give any meaningful of feedback.

We stayed in a "spacious balcony" category on deck 8.... There were no USB ports by the bed...and no outlets. This wasn't a inconvenience to us... we just charged our phones on the counter above the drawers....

Does anyone know if Keith the piano player still on the ship?  We will be on next weekend I really hope my husband will get the chance to see him.  He is great!

The current Piano man is ....Perry Grant.  I listened to him several evenings as I walked through Schooner Bar from Casino.  He was pretty talented and always had a good crowd. He's an older gentleman with a bit of a Liberace flair in him. Mixed his music with crowd interaction.... You should enjoy him

I've read that the lower part of the balcony is different/solid from her sister ships. We're on deck 7 hump. Can you explain that for me?

Not sure what you mean.... The balcony cabins are closed in on both sides if thats what you mean?? Railing with lower glass in front.

Yes...I would check your cruise Planner several days a week. It started at $49 ...went up to $52...then down to $49 and then about 60 days out it dropped to $46 and stayed there until we left. As Katiemylady stated it can even go lower and I had read of similar drops to $42 on other ships as well. Being a Easter week cruise and a very crowded cruise.... I don't think RCL needed to discount the $46 rate any further!

No..I am not Diamond. I did go up to the Blue Moon and it looked like the Diamond Lounge entrance was on the back side with rear view...not front view as Blue Moon had

Looking forward to your review. We're on her in December.

Was there a show every night?  How many "production shows" vs headliners.

I assume they have the usual evening stuff like Quest and Love & Marriage?

Thanks.

Yes.... There were shows nightly...several days with RCL singers, dancers and orchestra doing different programs...had a talented vocalist who did many genres of music (Nicola Ward)... Had a group called the Las Vegas Tenors.... and had 3 comedians (Sam Fedele, James Stevens and Jackson Perdue)

And yes they had the normal gameshows and adult gameshows such as " blankety blank"; "Battle of the sexes"; "Quest"; "Love and Marriage"...etc. Plus lots of Trivia and karioke

Do you know how long Perry Grant will be on Adventure. We will be on board in July. My mother saw him on a few Celebrity cruises years ago and is still raving about him.

The first three Voyager Class ships (Voyager, Explorer, Adventure) have balconies that are part of the superstructure of the ship. They are mainly steel on the sides and about half the front facing the sea with the top being glass. See sample photos.

Navigator and Mariner, the last two in the series have balconies built outside the superstructure and are all glass facing the sea.

The casino does have a no smoking section. I was on Adventure in March. I was playing poker at a table in the casino. the man next to me pulled out his e-cig and was told by the dealer that smoking was not allowed at the table we were at.

Do they have more than one poker table?  Was it a Hold Em table?

I play Caribbean Stud. I did see at least one Hold 'em table, maybe two.

I was happy to see Caribbean Stud.... Haven't seen that table game on my recent past cruises on other cruise lines

Do you by any chance remember what Movies were avaiable in your cabin> Both free and pay for view? Thanks!!

Unfortunately I do not. My grandson downloaded a bunch of movies onto his tablet so never had interest in watching what was on the TV. I do know they had a on demand channel...but never looked what was playing. Some of the movies which played on tge big screen over pool deck included Aquaman....Instant Family...Night School....Fantastic Beasts  The crimes of Grindlewald....Glass....and Venom. Several of these movies were shown more than once  on different evenings. Usually a movie at 7pm and then 10pm
