Vibe pass fraud

Agree with Two Wheels. Not gonna happen. The reasons that some Haven guests like Vibe are varied. No children in the vicinity, dedicated bar, never crowded, and more. Some Haven sundecks are very windy, none have a bar, all are in proximity to kids. NCL isn't about to revamp half their Havens for a 100 or so Vibe passes. It would not be cost efficient in any way. No matter WHO they sell the Vibe passes to, they are making the same money from them.

Find out WHY they are leaving and FIX THAT PROBLEM. The Haven guests should WANT to stay IN the Haven. (Next thing, the Haven guests will want access to is the Studio Lounge since that area is also Adult-Only, right?).

Since some in the Haven like Vibe because there are no children, what are you going to do to fix the issue, not allow children in the Haven?  That is a joke, because NCL is never going to do that.

"not allow children in the Haven?" Is that the ONLY solution that you see, or is it just the easiest to argue against?

The Haven has a large outdoor sundeck. The could easily segregate a PART of that area, make it adult only, and install a bar. IOW...a Vibe within the Haven. Haven guests could then have the Vibe experience without having to buy a pass. (Wow...what a concept...a Haven Vibe that is available to the Haven adults at no charge).

It also depends on the ship.  When on the Breakaway in the Haven, I have gotten the vibe pass because I like being able to use an outdoor hot tub.  On the Escape, the Haven outdoor sundeck had a hot tub, so I did not get the spa pass. I am a teacher, so can only cruise the same time children are out of school.  At those times, for me, the Haven areas have been taken over by kids.  My last cruise, during Christmas, it seemed a large extended family traveled together, the adults were in one hot tub and the children, about 8 of them under the age of 7 were in the other.  After a few hours of waiting, I went into the one with the children.  I had a five year old hold his hand up to me and say, "you can't come in here".  Needless to say, I did and they all left to go join the adults.  When paying the high price of the Haven, it is a know brainer, to pay a little more for the peace of the vibe.

BA/GA/Escape don't have the space to spare.

The Haven sundeck is currently for 16 years-old and older. IMO, NCL (on BA/GA/Escape) should make the entire forward-facing sundeck Haven, make the port side sundeck for all Haven guests, make the starboard side (where VIBE is located) adult-only and either add a bar to the Haven sundeck or allow Haven guests to use the VIBE's bar. The problem is that non-Haven guests would lose the forward-facing sundeck on 3 ships that don't have a forward-facing lounge for all.

Not arguing, just stating facts.  I don't think NCL wants to take any more space away from their high paying Haven guest with children, when Vibe is available for Haven guest to purchase.  Now if they took a portion of Vibe and made that into a Haven Vibe, that would probably work, but it would also reduce the number of passes for a smaller Vibe area.

Same thing happened to me on the Gem in the Haven (and it wasn't spring break or Christmas). Four very young loud splashing kids took over one of the hot tubs for hours and adults (I'm guessing their parents) hogged the other one. My DH and I went in the one with the kids seeing as there was room in that one. Two of the kids got angry and asked why WE were in it. I just firmly said because this is our hot tub too. They left soon after. Thery also questioned why we were in the POOL with them when we got in the pool one time. Ugh.

Well just like primo seats to a Ball Game or concert. If I am a  high roller VIP with a good Credit Card and connections then they can hold back the best Box or seat in the venue. Fair not fair Norwegian can decide who gets what.  Who knows the entire story with the Casino Free Cruise Traveler  you can't really take what he says at face value

I am sorry you did not get your Vibe Pass but again Norwegian could make more available and even as  a purchase in the Cruise Planner online for a limited amount and then the rest sold on board. If you don't like their policies then you can chose to sail with another cruiseline but be prepared for other red tape.

If you are not happy with what is offered you are not forced to sail on Norwegian. Fraud is when they take money from you and won't return it.
