emerald discounts specialty restaurants

Recommended Posts

upcoming cruise I wanted to buy the BOGO dining package.  went in cruise planner to get it and it's no longer available.  looks like it's been replaced with a "chops +1" which seems it's a night at chops and another night somewhere else, but only a $35 credit at chops.  sailing is 9/15/19 on harmony.  question is, with my emerald membership, are there any dining discounts once on board?  thinking I would just use one of those and grab a specialty restaurant that way if possible.

Any dining discounts for diamonds?

BOGO specialty restaurants start at D+.

Honestly, I have not looked to see if there is any discount on the specialty restaurants for Diamond. I would hoped I would have noticed if there was.

No discounts on specialty dining based on C&A status until you reach Diamond Plus.

Ca only go  1st  night since we have dining pkg and will have to use that on 2nd night

Just curious thou since we both get a Bogo

Say if we went to Izumi  which has a $35 amount for alacarte  If i ordered  $50 in food can I use the Bogo on myself?

Honestly, we have never bought any packages for the specialty  restaurants because in the main dining room for breakfast and lunch and in the windjammer, we are always approached by a cruise member with a heavily discounted dinner.  Even after the packages, we still get approached.  It is great!!
