The Longest wait

Is the last week before a cruise. I swear it feels longer than waiting for my tour in Korea to be over!

Just spend time looking at excursions to make certain you have selected the ones you want to go on.

I feel your pain - in my case it seems even longer, as I tend to sleep less because of the excitement of the upcoming cruise.  Enjoy your cruise!

It seems to last forever! LOL! Thankfully it will be a short work week and after work is busy! Counting down to the 16th.

I agree - the wait seems longer as it gets closer.  But for some reason, I am still always packing at 1 am the night before we leave!

At the beginning of the week leading up to the cruise, my adrenaline starts pumping. It's nearly impossible to focus on my work. But, I manage until it's time to fly out. Even though we fly out the day before,  when we board the plane, I'm wishing we were flying on a supersonic jet like the Concorde, so that we could be at the port city in about 10 minutes. During a normal day,  three hours isn't really all that long. But why does a three hour flight on a plane seem to take forever?

The week before IS longer. On the ship a week seems like four days.

I booked our upcoming June cruise in Aug 18. I have NEVER booked so far out. Once we got into the 60's and 50's it seemed like those couple of weeks flew by. But now that we are in the 20's it feels like time has stopped! Not sure I can book this far out again. I don't think my brain and heart can take it.

I actually think the last week goes by quickly as I am so busy with:

 

• Making sure I'm caught up at work
• Packing 
• Booking airport parking
• Stopping the mail
• Having dinner with my daughter
• Etc.....

 

But it's all worth it for a cruise.

I have to disagree. The last week goes by so fast that sometimes I wonder whether I'll get packed and everything else done in time, regardless of how well I plan in advance.

Depends on how busy I am elsewhere, sometimes I wish I had more time to get everything done.

That last week before the cruise seems to drag a lot more now that we're retired. Before that, I was always so busy trying to get everything done that it flew by. Now - well, now that last week takes a lot longer.

this is the worst sight to see.

 

The last 30 days or horrible waiting for a cruise. But that last week is a killer!

Since I was in Saigon the entire time it went by pretty fast. Waiting for my next cruise seems longer.
