"LIVE" from Celebrity Summit

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 2 of "LIVE" from Celebrity Summit. At breakfast this morning I had a made to order omelette, and was surprised to hear that there is no Salsa in the Oceanview Cafe. . . Who in the ? What the ? For the live of ? No Salsa ? "Oh the Humanity" It turns out that the ship has salsa, but in on Deck 3 in the Cosmopolitan Restaurant for breakfast. I may have to have breakfast down there later this week.

It appears that there may be some sun today. . . There are still heavy clouds but the sun is trying to peek through. . . We still have about 200 nm to go before Bermuda and passengers are getting antsy about being at sea. At least it is possible to be out on the decks without rain and high winds.

I plan to attend the Bermuda Shopping and excursion talk this morning in the Theater. There will be a Officers vs Passengers Volleyball Competition this afternoon and Bohemian Rhapsody will be playing on the Big Screen in the Celebrity Theater.

Last night I was surprised to see a rose was provided in a vase and a friendly reminder that clocks need to be turned ahead 1 hour before going to bed. This will put us on Bermuda time (Atlantic Time Zone)

I enjoyed a Cafe Mocha this morning Cafe Al Bacio this morning where I set up the Radio Pressroom to make this post. It is very relaxing there for a coffee.

Here are some photos from last night and this morning. . .

Thanks for tuning in.

Radio,  thanks so much for taking the time out of your vacation to do this.  We'll be on the Summit in September, so I'm very much enjoying your commentary and beautiful photos.  (And glad to see you are finally getting some sun and blue seas.  I hope they've filled the pool!)

Thanks again!

Trying to pack for next week—ugh!  NJ looks wretched for Sunday and then possibility of showers the next few days.  I really hope you have great weather while you are in Bermuda!  Getting a little leery of keeping the snorkeling trip.

Sailing on the Summit on September 8th for a two weeker. Really appreciate all the info and pics. Will be our first time on Celebrity. Booked a Celebrity Suite. Would love to see some pix of one of them!

Sorry, but all cabins are occupied and I would like to see one too. I don't have any friends that are sailing  in a Celebrity Suite 😉

Radio,

Would it be possible for you to provide a picture with the pullman bunk open so I can see what it looks like?

TIA

I think thats a fairly  big process involving the steward.  From the looks of it,  that is not a very good set up for an extra person unless it swings over to the side!

Radio, thank you for your lovely postings.  We have been on Summit numerous times to Bermuda and before her Zenith.  We usually go in July to insure that warmer Atlantic. We went a couple times in Sept until a hurricane diverted us. So now it’s July.

I got homesick looking at your photos! Everything looks so fresh!

If you have time, are the glittery sculptures of ladies still on each floor at the midship stairways? I used to love them.

Again, thank you and have a great time!

I was recently on a Summit "Revolution" board that I think showed pictures of all the revolutionized suite categories. Mixed reviews on the new style though. Large board with 42 pages so you'll have to scroll through to find them.
