Celebrity Reflection

Hi Cruisers,  we have been on a few Celebrity ships, but never Reflection.  Has anyone recently sailed on her recently who could give me an opinion on this ship compared to Silhouette.  Happy cruising

I have enjoyed our cruises on Silhouette more.  My reasons include fewer cruisers and a friendly staff. We had sailed in Aqua Class and Blu was definitely more crowded with more tables and diners on the Reflection.  Staff was stretched thin.

 

I am disappointed with the loss of about 40% of the Sky Lounge on Reflection to accommodate a suite.  

 

Food quality is very good on both.

The Reflection is a great ship! For us, there is nothing to not like. We have sailed in CC and S1 cabins and loved every minute. Happy cruising!

They are really more alike than different.  Silhouette has the full front Sky Lounge; Reflection's is only half that size as suites were added on the port side.  Reflection has a better Sunset Bar (IMHO) as the bar was relocated and the stairway moved behind the bar making aft views more spectacular.  I will say Reflection often did seem more crowded but we learned to deal with it.  If we wanted a drink before 6 pm when all the Early Seating people were at the Passport, Ensemble, Martini and Casino Bars we developed a habit of getting a drink from the Oceanview Bar and having it on our balcony.  

 

I think the staff are fine on both.

We enjoyed both ships.  They both have a lawn club grill, our favorite celebrity restaurant. We also like the alcoves

 I loved the Reflection, the Sky Lounge is half the size of the Silhouette but it had more of a Night  Club feel to it, which we enjoyed.  We will be on it middle of next week, so if there is anything you want to know just ask & I will see what we can do.
