Dejlig Ko Posted May 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2019 When I was on the Bliss last October, the smoked mozzarella ravioli and a warm banana pudding with caramel sauce really stood out. Next I'll be on NCL Getaway and plan to eat at specialities 8 (4 from Free @ Sea and will purchase an extra 4 night package) of the 19 nights. For those other nights in the MDRs what are some your favorites (especially mains)? I thank you in advance 🙂

newmexicoNita Posted May 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2019 Has to be breakfast, primarily Lox and bagels or those fancy looking glasses of yogart I can't even remember what they are called, but they sure are good. I also love the french toast on the ships with a great outdoors. We really don't eat a lot in the MDRs We either do specialty dining or we pop into O'sheehans. dreamr Posted May 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2019 It was on the Escape a few years ago. I believe it was lunchtime. I love mushrooms, so I ordered the goat cheese-stuffed portobello mushrooms. So good! And that same meal, I had vanilla bean panna cotta with raspberry puree for dessert. I'm not usually a fan of raspberry, so I was just eating the panna cotta without the puree, and the waiter noticed and asked me why I wasn't eating it together, and told me that I should try it because it was really good together. He was absolutely correct! It was amazing! For the rest of the cruise, I kept hoping they would offer those things again, but they never did. 😞
