300dtc Posted May 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2019 Can anyone give me some idea of how much chair and umbrella rentals are at any of the beaches? Does the rental place want cash or do they have facilities for using a credit card? Thank you, it's our first Bermuda trip!
njhorseman Posted May 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2019 (edited) Here are the rental prices at Horseshoe Bay. The website for Tobacco Bay and Clearwater Beach doesn't give pricing, One caveat...the beach season is just starting and it's not inconceivable that the prices could be increasing this year. As you can see, Visa and MasterCard are accepted https://rumbumbeachbar.com/beach-rentals Edited May 13, 2019 by njhorseman
njhorseman Posted May 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2019 Here's a link to the admission and rental prices at Snorkel Park, which is a man-made beach at the Royal Naval Dockyard. Personally I won't go there...it doesn't compare favorably to the beaches I previously mentioned...and they charge admission to boot: http://snorkelparkbeach.com/admission-rates/
dawntrip Posted May 13, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2019 (edited) At Tobacco Bay last week the chairs were $20 each. They had built in adjustable canopies so umbrellas were not needed. We paid cash so I didn’t notice if they took credit cards. They took credit cards for food and drinks. At Horseshoe last week, the prices were as listed in post above, but umbrellas were not available because it was too windy. Also, by early afternoon they ran out of chairs and only had the loungers left. Enjoy Bermuda! Edited May 13, 2019 by dawntrip
