Best place to see Bears??

I am booked with Royal Caribbean to cruise Alaska on August 30th, I have been looking into different excursions where you may see bears but obviously the sightings are not guaranteed.

 

Can anyone recommend the best place that we are likey to see bears or can anyone recommend an excursion?

We have booked Island Wings in Ketchikan, however that was early July.  I don't think the salmon are running in Anan Creek at that time.  I was the most expensive tour we have ever done, but amazing.  Michelle has a great team working for her.

Check island wings or the other vendors in ketchikan.  They can tell you when its prime time for traitors cove. I went mid September and saw good activity but its unusual that late in the year.
