Glad it helped.  I've also heard from two other cabins that received similar refunds once they asked for them.

I still don't understand why Princess misled us on the problem and didn't offer refunds to every cabin without AC.

I plan to write to corporate and will post their response here.

Please let us know what corporate said.  Glad it worked out for you.

We love the Caribbean Princess...can you tell if any changes in the adult pool area below the Sanctuary?

There were no changes in the adult pool area below the Sanctuary that I noticed.  Same chairs and pool.

Hi Carolyn,

I just saw that you had posted here.  I was so glad to meet you and your husband on the Carib Princess last week !

I enjoyed the cruise and having great weather.  The band Static was awesome as usual. When I saw that they were on this ship it made my week. I had them on a different ship and it brings  people out dancing. They have great music for us baby boomers and the tons of young people.  I had chance to talk to  Nancy in the band and inquired  about their next contract. They will be on the Sky Princess for Dec.4. and Dec.7 2019 Inaugurals to the U.S. cruises. Love it since I will be on that cruise.   I hope they will have the new production  show  " Fantastic Journey "  on the Sky also.  I totally enjoyed that show.

I hope our paths will cross again in the future.

Forgot to add that medallion net was fantastic.  Very, very quick!

My husband was one of the people picked to partake in a 45 minute focus group.  It was mainly about medallion net and staying connected and about the medallion.  They did give a $50 OBC for giving your time.

Since most of you are on the carribean princess or just got off the ship I wanted to know if medallions are okay in carryon luggage on flights thanks

I didn't get my medallion until I got to the terminal desk. On my flights home I had the medallion in my purse and it wasn't a problem.

Crooners was once again our favorite place.  I met some great people here and enjoyed the crew.

I agree. Rupi, Leonard, Junella and Kevelyn were all enjoyable and kept us entertained all week.

As all have said, Thank You for your review.

Turnaround went fairly quickly. We met at 10 and we were required to disembark to the terminal but we're back onboard by 10:50. If have preferred to have immigration come onboard as in previous experiences, but it did help me meet my step goal for the day 😀

Debbie, After turnaround did they let you back into your cabins right away?

I didn't do a back to back on Carib Princess I took 2 weeks ago. However, when I have done the b2b before you were able to go wherever you wanted to go.   However, on one b2b ( 200 people ) , we got screwed by one family. We waited over an hour for this family to show up. We heard their name called many times and they searched for them. When they finally were escorted to the waiting area they didn't seem to care about anybody else who was inconvenienced. Without  any communication from all of us, we stared at them and some clapped while staring at them. They could have cared less.

Now ,this is when I think the Ocean Medallion could track those people down immediately !

Hi Sali, I had that same experience a while ago when Princess was allowing you to go directly back to your cabin after going through customs. However, since they started the "Not allowed in cabin" until 1:00 deal, I was wondering what they did with the In Transit people. Even though I will say that when we boarded the Caribbean Princess last week at12:00, we were able to go straight to our cabin.

Yes, we went directly to our cabin to return our passports to the safe and were then able to go anywhere onboard we liked once we reboarded. We returned to the piazza, got a coffee and watched the arriving passengers come onboard. They had begun arriving while we returned to our cabin so embarcation must have begun about the same time we were allowed to reboard.

Sorry about the typos in my original post. Although I think I am proofreading while using my phone, I always find so many mistakes when viewing on a larger screen.

This occurs on almost every cruise & it's one of the main reasons we don't stay on the ship any longer. I'd rather go on a long walk then sit there waiting for the stragglers to show up when they please.

So much for locating people with their medallions. If they worked half as good as they promote, there wouldn't be any problem finding them.

We had a great trip.  The crew was outstanding.  I asked one of the engineering officers about the motor repairs and he told me that they did not cut a hole in the side of the ship.  He said that they were able to accomplish the repairs though existing access routes.

My white sportcoat is on the way to the cleaners and I'm looking for a new pink crustacean.
