No more pens... But do they still leave the little Carnival notepad?

First they shrunk the notepads.

Then they got rid of the pens.

Do they still leave the small Carnival notepads in each stateroom?

And do they give little golf pencils in each cabin or do we have to steal them from mini golf ourselves?

I always liked the notepads and pens, and used them long after my cruise.  However, I have to be honest and say I didn't even realize they were gone as I usually bring my own pens and a small notepad or sticky notes myself

Just got off the Dream- no pens and our pencils weren't even that fancy :(  I loved my Carnival pens - always replaced with the next cruise- so disappointing....

We asked our room steward for more pads on our recent Miracle cruise and he brought us about 10 for us to bring home.

If people follow your lead the next new pad will be toilet paper 🤔

This is exactly what was on the Ecstasy on the April 26th sailing.

But I managed to come home with 2 pens. I got one from the coffee bar and one from a Scattergories game that we checked out of the library and played with one afternoon.

Why are people even concerned? Most people have at least two of three in their carry on or luggage.

They want to make sure they don't run out when those are gone.

For one of our past cruises on Carnival, the lady that was checking us in didn't have a pen.  I dug around in my carry on and gave her one that was from RCI.  She laughed and said "I wonder where that came from?"

Since Carnival pens are so popular and desirable lol

you'd think they could sell them in the onboard shops

for anything like $ 1-2 each, no? Would that be so difficult?

Oh don't tell me ... they do that already....... no?

My "laugh" emoji was due to your last comment - "steal them from the mini gold ourselves?"

We did a 7-day + 12-day Journey's cruise last Feb.  We received pens for both cruises plus I asked the cabin steward the first week for an extra pen.  Found out at dinner (part of large group) that someone at our table of 10 only received the pencil so I took him one of ours the next night at dinner.

I have about 10 of the pens from previous cruises so I'll take one with me next year.

A Pen and/or NO=Pen is __.

The writting BOND is Gone, the Pen may be a amiss.

OMG it is free P.R. do they not know the US Postal Service (USPS) is in the business of selling US Stamps, the most Profiable is Overnight Delivery.

A Cruise Line Ship used to give Postal Cards to write, send, and selling Stamps at the Pursers Desk , now called Customer (dis) service.

What better way of showing family, friends, and associates the ship by a picture of ten thosand words?

But a small Golf Pencil is kinda CHEaP..erh..
