I expect to be in attendance.  I have two friends continuing to the West Coast.  From their e-mail messages, the store rooms are nearly bare.  Heavy loading is going to be needed on Thursday.  I'd be surprised if Amsterdam sails on time given the amount of luggage that will have to be off-loaded and the pallets of supplies that will then have to be loaded.

Does anyone know what Captain will be taking the place of Jonathan Mercer when Amsterdam leaves Fort Lauderdale?

Capt. Jeroen Schuchmann, after he's done handing over Prinsendam to the Germans/Phoenix Reisen on 01 July. A fill-in captain until then. The other long-time AMDM captain, Fred Eversen, is moving on to another ship

YW; not sure how long Capt. SChuchmann will stay on AMDM, He's scheduled to join PDAM in four days and will in command of her until the handover, Unless, of course, things have changed which happens, and Capt. Schuchmann is joining AMDM in FLL today, relieving Capt. Mercer

Capt. Appie Schoonderbeek has a captain's schedule on his blog but it is unfortunately no longer up-to-date. A HAL crew schedule works :classic_wink:

Nice look at the 2005-built super yacht Azteca on the FL cam

Can you see the "boat boat" - yacht transport - behind the Amsterdam?

It appears to be empty. Are they loading - unloading - or both? Not at the same time, of course.
