Kid size air mattress (instead of upper)

I noticed these went on sale at Amazon and remembered us talking about them here. If you don't want to put your little one in an upper bunk, this might be a good solution that doesn't take much space in the room. If you have a sofa in the cabin, just let them sleep on that!

We always do this if there is no sofa bed, just take a "ready bed" for our 4 year old.  Don't think she would go in the upper bunk which would mean me clambering up there lol x

Good idea. It is recommended that a child be at least 6 to use an upper bunk.
