Scotchys

My husband is wanting to try Scotchys when we port in Montego Bay. I have several questions:

1. Any reviews for Scotchys and any must try food recommendations?

2. How far is Scotchys from the port and Doctors Cave?

3.  I saw the locations for the hop on/hop off and don't see Scotchys listed. Does anyone know if any of the hop on/off stops are walking distance to Scotchys or would it be best to take a cab?

Scotchies is definitely worth a trip! I’ve been there in a land vacation and am trying to make my way back there while we are in port. The chicken is a must try but my favorite is the festival! Festival is a fried dough that is a great accompaniment to jerk chicken. 🤗 here are some reviews.

Do they take US dollars? I've heard it is cash only.

They are all cash only I believe I paid with us dollars.at the place close to port.the tour guide said scotches was much better.my goal to go there next summer when we get back to ocho Rios.i don't member the name of the place we went the meat was dry.the driver says you have to go earlier in the day to get better food I guess they push it off to the side on the grill to keep it warm and the meat dries out.
