Avis shuttle from POM to MIA

Renting a car from Avis at the airport after my cruise this week.  Do they have shuttle service or do I need to get to MIA on my own?  Thanks!

Avis doesn’t provide shuttle service to the Miami International Airport Rental Car Center. They provide service to their downtown Miami location only. Alamo, National, Enterprise, Dollar, and Thifty provide free service to the Rental Car Center from the Port Of Miami.

If you have a better rate to return the car to MIA, an Uber or Lyft to PIN should be just under $20

I've always found it easier to avoid the shuttles at the port and arrange my own transportation to the airport.  If you depend on the shuttle there will likely be a large group of people trying to get into a 12 passenger van.   Grab a taxi or Uber and get yourself to the airport.  You can also keep your group together a lot easier if you arrange your own transportation.  I also avoid all rental car locations near the port and just go to the airport.  They are usually small with a limited collection of vehicles and the wait can be very long because they are not really set-up to handle a large amount of people.  These satellite locations are good for dropping off a car but not for much else.
