Champagne tasting?

Does Celebrity still offer champagne tasting?  We cruised on the Eclipse several years ago and that was something that was just terrific and we’re wondering if it is still available.

To clarify, it was a pay-for tasting of various champagnes (during one of our sea-days I think).  Very informative, plus nice pours of some yummy higher-end champagnes.  Not inexpensive, but great fun.

I haven’t seen a champagne tasting.  They have 4 -5 wine tastings and in the past few years have added spirit tastings- all for a fee of course.

I remember doing one a few years ago and the sommelier sabred a bottle of champagne! They held it in Blu.

Haven't seen one re sparkling wines---and was just on a 14 day TA. That would have been fun

There are -for fee- tastings of various liquors...

Captains Club does a wine tasting (at certain levels)--- went on recent sailing and it was a mess---- 60 people RSVPd and Head Sommelier (Maurizio) told me over 120 showed up...

Took 45 min to set up the rest of the tables--  IMHO they should have done check-in and They should have turned away everyone who had not RSVPd

Wines went from terrible (a fizzy sweet Lambrusco) to a decent table white...

Couldn't hear much of what Maurizio said because he was walking back and forth between all of the tables and the sound didn't travel well

Have also seen -for fee- wine pairing classes which are led by the various wine stewards on board...
