Bag Drop Off - Sydney OPT Pacific Explorer

We would like to drop off our checked in bags at about 9.30am on the day of embarkation for our New Caledonia cruise and visit the MOCA in Sydney which opens at 10am.  We are on the Pacific Explorer in July.  Then return to do a proper check-in.

 

Is this possible?

That can certainly be done from my experience. Our standard arrival time is around 9:30am. Baggage drop-off has always been open and you do that before dealing with any paperwork. So you can happily wander off and come back later.
