Watching the Super Bowl on Joy

We sail on the Joy out of Miami next February on Super Bowl Sunday.   Did not realize that until after we booked.  Please tell me there will be someplace on the ship that we can watch the game.

I've been on board several times for Super Bowl. It will be on nearly every TV on the ship (on Escape and Getaway they also showed it on the big screen in the Atrium).  You won't see any commercials though as it is a special feed.

You are right. We have never been on a ship during Super Bowl Sunday, but have for other pro football play offs and the games are televised throughout the ship. Other sports not so much so.

YES it will be shown all over the ship.

 

I did it on The Gem a number of years a ago when Green Bay was playing the Pittsbugh Steelers.  The Hotel Director was from Milwaukee and his parents were in Dallas for the game as winners of a Season Ticket Holder drawing.  Great fun.

We were on the Escape for the Superbowl in 2018 and on the Bliss for the Superbowl this year. They show it on pretty much every screen throughout the ship. Including the big screen on the pool deck. Here is some 360 video from during the Superbowl this year on the Bliss:

I'm sure they will be playing it, I am on that sailing also.  This years I was on MSC and they had it playing on the Divina in the casino, on your room TV and all over the ship.  Should not be an issue.

That's all awesome news.   We were at an all-inclusive in Riviera Maya for the Packers / Steelers Super Bowl and it was the most fun I've ever had.

On the Escape this year it also was shown in the theater, where they had popcorn, chips and dip, chicken wings. Very nice.
