Seating Accommodations at Dinner

Recommended Posts

Hello all!

My friend and I will be sailing on Majesty of the Seas to Cuba in 48 days (who's counting?).  I've sailed with RC many times before, but this is my friend's first cruise EVER (so excited!).

My friend has some mild social anxiety, and I'm worried that being seated with other people at dinner might take away from the experience.  I'm trying to figure out if I can call ahead and request a two-person table at second seating, or if it would be easier to switch to My Time Dining and request two-person tables that way.

What do y'all think?  I just want her to have the best time possible.

Also, while the MDR is a great time, most of the exact menu can be found in the WJ which is very calm in the evening usually - at least a solo table not near others is easier to score so if you find even the 2 top in the MDR is too close for comfort try that.  We often do the WJ for dinner since it tends to be more soothing and relaxed than the MDR.
