Uber from port to beach

Definitely go with Uber (or Lyft). You do not want a taxi with the meter running and a driver very likely to take the slowest route.

Right now--a Friday night of a holiday weekend, with most of South Beach showing red-level traffic on Google maps--the estimate for UberX from PortMiami to 10th and Ocean is $15. A taxi could easily approach triple that.

Actually you should run an estimate at the time and day of week you will be in port. Early weekday morning might be less--or more if morning rush hour is still on. Link I use is https://www.uber.com/us/en/price-estimate/

Probably don't need to mention this, keep a clean dry towel for the seat on the way back to the ship. It will be certainly appreciated 😎!

oh I will. I am an Uber driver part time.

Thanks everyone. I didn't know about the estimator.
