Thanks, we've done Taormina a number of times so thought we'd do something different. It may sound daft but was it a decent wine tasting experience with lots of nice local nibbles to have with your wine? We fancy some of the local foods as well.

We tasted 5 wines. There were deli meats, bread with olive oil and some cheeses. We stayed 30 minutes at the town that is past taormina but not much there....view could be incredible but it was foggy for us

We had dinner at Fine Cut. It was as good if not better than any other specialty steak house we had on other RCCL/NCL class ships.

That's good to know as we have booked for our 25th anniversary meal there :-)

Want a table outside so will talk to them as soon as we board :-)

927 and still lots of seats for 930 show. Looks like 4th floor always has more availability than 5th floor.

great theatre, very comfy seats and great waiter service.

suite guests have the middle area reserved..,at least they did on our cruise

We like that area but had to sit on the  sides.  Great theater!

At the 930 show now. One thing I noticed and missed is that they don’t have popcorn for the theatre like they do on nccl snd rccl ships

Popcorn ?  Are you  serious???  We never had that on Royal C...

X used to have a popcorn machine  for movies in the little theater.....I think popcorn would be quite messy and out of place in the  performance theater...

They have popcorn on all Oasis Class ships with RCCL. We’ve done 4 of them in last 4 years ans always had it. You had to pay but it was a very nominal fee.

for Fine Cuts, the tables outside were not being used. Waiter said he was not sure why but they almost never use them.

Colors of Life was an amazing show!!!

a lot of singing and dancing with great songs. Also had ropes show. They did songs like Shallow, etc.

So far we love entertainment but keep in mind We are in 35-40 age group and we don’t usually like the ‘broadway type musicals’ so I can understand how this could vary a lot by taste

Hah..we were on Oasis a few yrs ago and went to at least one show..don't re call popcorn.. but no loss if we missed it.

We did not like much about Oasis..except the  adult only solarium, some of the specialty dining, the am lite Diamond breakfast,   and the nightly Diamond get together which was awesome.

Celebrity in gen and EDGE in particular are a  much better fit for us!

Day 3 - Malta

We woke up and open the blinds to see beautiful Malta and a clear blue sky. Having the bed face the balcony is nice. We ordered room service breakfast the night before which is free for suite guest. There is now a large table in the sky suite which is perfect for breakfast.

Good to know that there is a table in the SS that you could use for breakfast. If you can......would love to see a picture. We're doing the same itinerary in September. Thanks for taking us along.

The table that we had in our S1corner aft suite was all white and made from a synthetic type of plastic material.  It has a huge area to place items, but is very, very low to the ground; however, it is certainly better than not having one!  I was told that these tables are "place holders" until the others come in for the change.  whether that is true or not is TBD.

Just a FYI everyone can order room service breakfast for free - menus slightly different but all include hot breakfast food. After, I think, 11pm there is a charge for room service but I think that is waived in suites.

Thank you for your great review - can’t wait for my B2B in July!

Thanks....did you hear if there were any plans for different balcony furniture in the SS.

Currently it's still 2 chairs and 1 small table. we did ask for a lounger and he was prompt in adding it. I'll add pictures for table and balcony furniture shortly.

The boat arrived at 7 and they started tender but they purposely did not announce to manage crowds. We went at 730 at cut and got escorted to tender boat. It was not busy at all so relaxing start. Cable car was also not busy, we did not wait at all. Please note most stores in cable car area only open 830-9 am
