Uber in Canada

Does the US Uber app work in Canada or do I need a different one?

 

If I have US money on my Uber account and use it in Canada will it convert or will I be charged in US dollars instead of Canadian dollars?

There’s one Uber app which can be used wherever Uber operates. In Canada you will be charged in Canadian dollars and your credit card company will convert it to US dollars including, where applicable, the foreign currency fees.

Your Uber App will work in Canada. Not all cities up here have Uber service. Montreal / Quebec City / Ottawa / Toronto all have service.

 

Vancouver does not (possibly by Sept 2019).

 

Atlantic provinces do not.
