Does HAL try to match countrymen at fixed MDR?

With all of our HAL cruises being in the Caribbean out of Florida ports the majority of our table mates have been American but not all.  We’ve also been at tables with Australian, British, German, French, and Canadian table mates.   With the exception of one French Canadian couple who were so uncomfortable with the language issue that they asked to be moved our mixed nationalities tables have been great.  Made a number of friends we still communicate with.   Never have gotten any inkling that HAL tried to manage table assignments by nationality.  Now cabin category is a whole different situation.
