Can anyone tell me about this Royal Caribbean excursion? "Barrier Reef Snorkeling Wonders #BE31"

 

Are you picked up at the ship?

 

What island do you go to? How long of a boat ride is it? 

 

Do you snorkel in open waters or is it from the shore?

Haven't done this excursion, but most of these go to Rendezvous Caye or used to go there.  You'll be picked up from the ship. Given the distance, I'd guess 20-30 minutes of travel time and you snorkel from shore according to various reviews.

I think people have mentioned it's Rendezvous and if so, it's pretty awesome. We did it and loved it! I have a complete review in my signature line if you are interested in seeing what it looks like. There's TONS of pictures. The only other option could possibly be Goffs Caye (which is similar to Rendezvous) or Starfish Island...which you probably wouldn't want and it's not really a snorkeling place but can stop along the way for snorkeling.
