Cinders411 Posted June 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) I am looking at Rhapsody of the Seas 7 night in Jan (Our 1st as Diamond!) and upon disembarking, boarding the NCI Dawn out of Tampa. I "think" both dock at Terminal 3? Just wondering if anyone has done this or has any information as to the ease of it or if it is possible now? Edited June 7, 2019 by Cinders411 Grammar LOL! Rare twangster Posted June 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2019 I can't see why you couldn't. Timing may require you hang outside for a bit before checking back in. At least January isn't oppressively hot & humid in Tampa. Be aware that fog can be an issue in Tampa in the winter. Coming back off Brilliance we had to wait outside the bay nearly all day for the fog and then a delayed HAL ship to leave. We arrived back at the pier after 5pm and I just barely made my 6pm flight. I had insurance but didn't need it. A lot of people who had flights at various times of the day were screwed.
emory2001 Posted June 8, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2019 I don't know, but even if you have to get a taxi between terminals, or to get coffee/breakfast somewhere while you wait to board, the Tampa port is super easy to get around and deal with. You are correct, NCL and the Rhapsody dock next to each other. We transferred our own luggage. We even added a HAL cruise on, and walked our luggage to their dock, too. Also thanks to Twangster as I had forgotten about the fog. Looks like I have some thinking to do!
