decorating for Christmas?

Recommended Posts

We are looking at a Dec 1 cruise this year and are wondering if the ships will be decorated for Christmas by then?  When are the ships decorated for Christmas typically?

The ship should be decorated for Christmas by December 1st.  I'm not positive, but I believe the ships are decorated by the first cruise after Thanksgiving.

We had a cruise that ended on Thanksgiving day and as we were getting off the crew had already started putting out the Christmas decorations.

I found this information in August 2018.  These were the dates for 2018 to give you an idea. Also we booked the Miracle thinking they would decorate while we were on the ship. They have a company who comes on the date listed and they decorated in one day. So we didn’t get to see any Christmas decorations.

These dates were for last year 2018.

We cruised December 1st last year. The ship was decorated, the band was playing Christmas music one (that I caught) night in the Atrium and Santa came and the kids could sit on his lap. They even had snow falling in the Atrium. It was really very nice. The fun squad were wearing Christmas sweaters and a few men (and even a 10 year old boy) were wearing suits with Christmas designs on them
